Every year throughout December, events for all generations take place in Lenart. You can experience them outdoors or in the halls. Get ready for Santa's visit, indulge in Christmas concerts and events for children. The events have been going on for over 10 years.

On Palm Sunday, the custom of setting up a festive bundle at the church in Lenart and in Volicina has been preserved. The bundle (called “presmec” or “butarica” in Slovenian) is made by locals; members of the local Presmec Society and the Radehova Tourist Association. The Presmec Society is also known for being mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records for its largest bundle (over 300 m) and the largest Advent wreath in the world.

Events on the holiday of the Lenart Municipality make autumn days even more colorful. They are held annually from mid-October to mid-November. There is a very diverse range of events: music for the joy of the soul, competitions for sports fans, comedy for laughter and relaxation and plenty of other events.

St. Martin's Day Celebration in Lenart is traditionally held on Martin's Saturday in Lenart Square. Together with visitors, the winegrowers "christen" the must and select Martin's Princess. Along with young wine, the visitors may also taste homemade culinary delights offered on the stands and enjoy the display of old customs and performance of folk groups. This is followed by fun and dancing until the night.

The last weekend in May traditionally takes place at the Agricultural and Craft Trade Fair KOS. In addition to the exhibition space, there is a rich accompanying program of events and activities.

Escape to the History of Witchcraft is an event, an experience of stories related to the legend of Agatha and the witchcraft processes that took place in Hrastovec Castle in the 17th century. The event is a mix of theater scenes, hiking, historical and cultural heritage. It takes place outdoors, in the heart of Slovenske gorice, with theatrical scenes staged in authentic locations.

Visit the traditional ethnological and culinary open-air event in Zavrh: Harvest of the offspring of the oldest vine in the world, a rich selection of musts and wines, homemade delicacies, a hunting exhibition at the LD Volicina hunting lodge, a visit to the Kranvogel Peasant Museum, folk group performance, party with a band, activities for children, workshops of old customs and crafts, tourist train rides, etc. 

Carnival in Lenart has been organized for 29 years in a row. It is attended by more than 1,000 carnival figures every year, including those from Lenart school and kindergarten. The carnival parade runs through the streets of Lenart and is viewed by thousands of visitors.

LEN-art events take place in Lenart during the summer, from mid-June to the end of August. Concerts of different music genres, workshops and events for children, comedies, folklore... presented by local and foreign performers. Up to 25 events in total.

The blessing of herbs in Volicina has become a beautiful parish and folk holiday, emphasizing the importance of healing herbs and the richness of health, thus attracting many people. It takes place on August 14th and 15th, on the religious holiday of the Assumption of Mary. It is organised by the herbalist section of the Rojs-Srecko-Niko-Volicina Cultural Society. The day before the holiday, August 14th, the herbalists make nearly 1,000 bouquets of herbs together with visitors. Herb bouquets are on display at the St. Rupert's Church on August 15th, where the herbs are then blessed. The blessed bouquets can be taken home.

The May Day Hike from Lenart to Zavrh is attended annually by more than 1,500 hikers, not only from the Lenart area, but also from the wider area of ​​Slovenia. Friendly companionship, high spirits, and most of all, interesting events and a rich culinary offer of local providers, offering what one's heart desires; layer cake (“gibanica”), homemade bread, cold cuts, fried sausages and excellent wines attract more and more visitors every year.
