The beautiful classicist building of 1895 stands in the center of the town. It illustrates the foundations of primary education in Lenart, where the first regular school with a full-time teacher was established in 1759. The first grade of primary school is still being taught there. Next to the school is a renovated house where the writer Ozbalt Ilaunig lived and worked.
